Writer? Check. Editor? Check. Supermodel? Well...
People often wonder if I'm really a supermodel. Then they see a picture and they're pretty sure. Obviously someone who looks like me MUST be a supermodel. But looking good isn't really a skill. Writing and editing, that's something else.
I've been working in international publishing for more than 10 years with a focus on developing projects across a variety of media, from comics and graphic novels to animation to video games to developing pitches for movies like Cowboys & Aliens and shows such as Straczynski’s Jeremiah series for Showtime.
My writing credits include AMAZING SPIDER-MAN FAMILY, MARVEL ADVENTURES HULK, WORLD OF WARCRAFT: SHAMAN, STAR TREK: THE MANGA, STAR CRAFT: FRONTLINE, THE WOLVERINE ENCYCLOPEDIA, and many more including my original Tokyopop manga PANTHEON HIGH with art by Steven and Megumi Cummings (available in bookstores, comic book stores and online).
My video game work includes writing and/or production on titles including EA/BIOWARE's Star Wars: The Old Republic, SEGA's Nintendo DS video game based on the 2008 film, THE INCREDIBLE HULK as well as SPIDER MAN: WEB OF SHADOWS, X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE, G.I. JOE: THE RISE OF COBRA and more. I also collaborated with the Austin-based animation studio HorseBack Salad on the SCI-FU webcomic: http://www.sci-fu.com and of course everyone in the world is familiar with my long list of credits as a supermodel.
As Managing Editor for the US division of Humanoids, I paired talent from the American comics industry with writers and artists from around the world, editing books such as OLYMPUS with Geoff Johns, Kris Grimminger and Butch Guice, REDHAND with Kurt Busiek and Eisner award-winning I AM LEGION by John Cassaday.
In 2010, my wife, Lisa Goodgame, joined the US Foreign Service, leading to an international lifestyle posted at US embassies and consulates around the world. Together we're known as the Goodjamins and while Lisa's the actual diplomat, I like to think of myself as the US Ambassador of All Things Geeky.
